The START program is recruiting exceptional postdoctoral scholars from across the globe with a record of excellence and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic, Analytical, Physical), Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Instrumentation) or Physics, and who are passionate about applying their expertise to make an impact in medical research and patient care.

Applicant Selection

Applicants to the program will be evaluated based on criteria including:

• Record of research achievements and publications
• Letters of recommendation
• Personal statement

The personal statement should be approximately 3 pages and can include (i) Personal goals, (ii) Specific research project interests, (iii) How your background/experience matches training program mission, as well as research project, and (iv) Experiences in multidisciplinary research environments.
