Research Interests:
My research focuses on using bioluminescence (BLI), PET and CT imaging for evaluating the progression of metastatic prostate cancer and its response to clinically relevant therapies. To model this we have coordinately activated the PI3K/Akt and RAS/MAPK signaling pathways in a conditional model of murine prostate cancer. We are currently evaluating the effects of combined targeting of mTOR and MEK inhibition using rapamycin and PD325901, respectively.
